Task 6

Overall and enjoyable challenge.

Mappr was interesting but I enjoyed more the linkage of Fickr and Montager particularly when my search term was 'castles' and the image was Ardverk Castle on Loch Assynt - http://www.deviousgelatin.com/montager/image.php?image=2987637558

Because I love colour in all forms I really enjoyed playing on the Krazydad colr pickr website http://www.krazydad.com/colrpickr/index.php?group=catchy
I was fascinated to watch which images loaded when I chose a colour and then altered the depth by moving slide button.

From this site I followed a link to MetaScope "an interactive image-searching kaleidoscope maker" and as this looks like fun I download and 'play' with this program another time.

Task 5

Whew .... spent some time setting up a Flickr account to find that I already had an account set up last year (and forgotten about). Edited that account and had fun plundering around Flickr and looking at tags and photos.

Had an enjoyable time selecting an image, experimenting with and resizing it to suit the icon size, then uploaded my photo selection. Trial and error time with tags and labels, but decided on some in the end. Decided I'd select a photo of a favourite flower for this post.

Task 4

My blog is now registered, thanks to Fiona. Went to register it myself (very late at night) and then decided not to as I couldn't locate any instructions in any of the documents.

I also decided to edit my profile and add a couple of images to the site, but that all for now.

23 Things - Tasks 1>3

This is my first post for the 23 things pilot.

I'm a very late starter, however I've now read the Task 1 info. and listened to the 7 1/2 Habits of Highly Successful Lifelong Learners. Now to the tasks.

My biggest challenge is to envisage the end result, however I'm sure I'll muddle through. The best habit will be to create the learning toolbox.
